Announcing the Keystone Chapter of Fire Service Instructors general membership meeting
Saturday December 12, at 0900 hours via Zoom.
The meeting will start with a business meeting where we will bring you up to date with the items your Board has been working on since our reorganization meeting in July. Topics will include, but aren’t limited to: 2027 Membership Dues structure; 2027 Officer line up; Updating the Bylaws and adding Electronic enrollment and dues payments to the website, for your convenience.
At the conclusion of the meeting, attorney Kim Houser, a fellow instructor and Keystone member, will present LEGAL UPDATE ON INSTRUCTOR/COMMANDER MALPRACTICE LIABILITY. This is a very important subject for us as instructors and officers, especially after the recent ruling in Indiana.

We want you to know that the Board is working hard to make Keystone a valuable asset to your training career. This is the first step in doing so. And, as always, if you know of any instructors who are not members of Keystone, please tell them about us and invite them to join. According to the PSFA, there are over 1,000 state instructors, and we have a few over 300. We obviously have a lot of room to grow.
